Located only 26km from Hotel Konaki and only 20min drive the airport of Preveza is welcoming daily or weekly flights from all over Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Norway, Netherlands, Switzerland, UK etc), Israel, as well as Athens, Crete, Corfu and Kefalonia.
If you enjoy the “Fly & Drive” experiences then more ways to reach Hotel Konaki are available:
Via Athens: You could fly to Athens International Airport with the airline of your choice at a time and date of your preference and then hire a car and drive through the beautiful Greek countryside and get to our hotel after a 5 hours road trip.
Via Thessaloniki: Similar to Athens, Thessaloniki’s international airport welcomes charter and normal flights from all over the world throughout the year. At Macedonia International Airport, you could pick the car of your choice, and drive through the lovely Greek countryside of Northern Greece (through the Egnatia Road). You will reach our hotel in no more than 5 hours road trip.
Via Ioannina: Flying into the airport of Ioannina is another wonderful option if you want to experience more of Greece’s beautiful places. And here again at the King Pyrrus Airport of Ioannina you could hire a car of your choice and get to our hotel in less than 2 hours road trip.
Via Corfu: A choice for the more adventurous ones since arriving to Lefkada from Corfu is a combination of sea and land travel. Upon arrival in Corfu, we recommend that you get a taxi to take you to the port, which is only 2km away from Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport. From there you could choose between the hydrofoil or a normal ferry to take you to Igoumenitsa where upon arrival you can either hire a car or just get in a taxi that will drive you to our hotel.
The nearest international port to Lefkada is the port of Igoumenitsa, which is only 117kms away from Hotel Konaki. The port of Igoumenitsa connects Greece with Italy and passenger (and car) ferries arrive daily from Bari, Ancona, and Venice in Italy as well as Patras in Greece.
Igoumenitsa, starting in 2013, is also the port chosen by major cruise companies like SEABOURN that have a stopover in order to allow their guests to visit Ancient Sights like Dodona and explore the beautiful region of Epirus.
